Two Topeka Residents Charged In Drug Trafficking Bust

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Two Topeka residents are charged in a drug trafficking organization that distributed more than $16 million worth of marijuana and cocaine.

36 year old Aaron Gunderson and 28 year old Nathan Wallace are among 35 defendants in the case.

The 101 count indictment states the organization, run by two Lawrence residents, operated from 2005 to 2012.

It allegedly distributed $16.9 million worth of drugs through transactions that involved businesses and real estate in Topeka and surrounding cities.

It is believed the drugs were transported by commercial carrier from California to Kansas.
