MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) -- A man and woman from Wichita were arrested in Manhattan Tuesday as part of what officials in the Riley County Police Department say is an ongoing investigation into prostitution.
On Tuesday, July 3rd at 4:30 PM, members of the RCPD’s Criminal Investigation Division arrested 18-year-old Amber Crawford for Prostitution at America’s Best Value Inn on Tuttle Creek Boulevard.
Police also arrested 22-year-old Alexander Boston for Promoting Prostitution at the same location.
Officials say the hotel’s management has been assisting them with their operations. Other arrests for prostitution were made at that location back in April.
Specific details on the sting were not released.
