Two Teachers Honored In The 60th Master Teacher Class

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- The 2013 Kansas Master Teacher Class is out and two northeast Kansas teachers have made the grade!

They are Kacie Evans english language arts teacher at Prarie Heights Middle School in Alta Vista and Kelly Norman math instructional coach at Chase and Robinson Middle Schools in Topeka.

Both will be inducted in the 60th class of Kansas Master Teachers. Emporia University established the honor in 1954.

The awards are presented annually to teachers who have served the profession long and well and have ensured their students success in the classroom and in life.
