Two State Agencies Will Be Conducting Joint Checkpoints

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Two state agencies will be conducting joint checkpoints in North-Central Kansas.

The stops will be made Sunday afternoon in Ottawa County,North of Salina,by the Highway Patrol and The Department of Wildlife,Parks and Tourism.

Troopers will make the initial stops-checking all drivers for valid licenses.

The stops is to assure that all drivers are obeying state laws and to check to see if drivers are transporting wildlife.

The two agencies say delays for both checks are not expected to inconvenience drivers being checked.
