Two People Seriously Injured After Hitting Concrete Wall

TOPEKA, Kan., -- (WIBW) Officers responded to an injury accident involving a car hitting a concrete retaining wall at 232 N.E. Branner around 12:30 a.m. Friday morning.

Officers found a silver car at the north end of the Fiesta bridge with two people trapped inside. The Topeka Fire Department extricated the driver and the passenger. Both were taken to hosptial with life threatening injuries.

Accident reconstuction is assisting with the investigation.
