CENTRALIA, Kan. (WIBW) -- A 14-year-old died after an accident while boating at Centralia City Lake Monday.
The Nemaha County Sheriff's Office said in a press release Tuesday morning that the teen was riding a tube being pulled by a boat and was thrown from the tube. The incident was reported at about 5:48 p.m.
EMS took the teen, whose name is not being released, to Nemaha Valley Community Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The sheriff's office says the investigation continues, however foul play is not suspected. They are not releasing the boy's name until family members are notified.
