TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A man accused in a fatal shooting outside Topeka West High School has a trial date set.
21-year old Coty Newman waived his formal arraignment Monday. He's charged with first-degree felony murder in the October death of 20-year old Matthew Mitchell.
Newman's trial is set for March 28th.
Two others also are charged. Samantha Hochard will stand trial March 21st. Austin Tabor's trial is set for May 2nd.
