TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - The trial for a man accused of kidnapping and killing a little girl in Topeka has been postponed again.

Billy Davis faces charges including capital murder, rape and aggravated kidnapping for the death of 8-year-old Ahliyah Irvin in March of 2012.

Police say Davis took her from an apartment to a nearby apartment where he was staying, then raped and killed her.

His trial was set for April 7th. It's now delayed until November 17th.

If convicted, Davis could face the death penalty.
