TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - The trial for another of eight defendants in the Natalie Gibson murder case has been delayed.

The trial for Michael Wilkins, 23, was scheduled to start Monday.

Wilkins is charged with two counts of attempted first degree murder, three counts of aggravated robbery with a dangerous weapon, and one count of aggravated battery causing bodily harm in the Natalie Gibson murder case.

Judge David Debenham found good cause to continue the trial Monday. The new jury trial is set for April 2 of next year.
