604,296 passengers arrived and departed through the gates in February, which is a 13.3 percent decrease compared to last February.
A total of 302,957 passengers boarded during February, down 13.9 percent.
Boardings have totaled 639,693 for the year to date. That's a decrease of 11.2 percent from the same period last year.
Service was offered to 46 nonstop markets. 168 was the number of peak-day scheduled aircraft departures for February. There was an average of 32,786 arriving and departing seats available in the market each day. That's down 4.2 percent from last year. Available seats should start increasing in April.
Air cargo is up 8 percent for the year to date compared to the same period last year. Air cargo tonnages for all carriers at KCI was down 2.6 percent in February. Air mail for February was down 9 percent compared to February 2012.
