Topekan Indicted On Counterfeiting Counts

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A Topeka man is charged with counterfeiting money.

21-year-old Chad Linder was indicted on three counts of passing counterfeit money, ranging from 20-dollar bills to 100-dollar bills.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says it's believed the crimes happened around January 1, 2013.

If convicted, Linder faces a maximum of 20 years in federal prison and a fine of $250,000.
