TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Topeka Metropolitan Transit Authority Board members voted Monday to get rid of their 25-year-old trolley.
The board will try to donate the trolley to a community organization and they say staff can sell it if no one wants it.
The board also granted permission to contract for new para-transit vehicles, that don't use compressed natural gas. Workers say the vehicles that use compressed natural gas cost more money than they save in the long run.
