TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Officers responded to a shooting at 1312 SW Polk Wednesday just after 10 p.m. Upon arrival officers located a male victim, later identified as 36-year-old Michael Buchanan, with possible life threatening gunshot wound in the hallway of the 7th floor.
AMR transported Buchanan to a local hospital. Additional officers responded to the area of 13th and Tyler where the crime scene was located.
