TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW)-- Sunday afternoon, community volunteers and Topeka United Methodist churches teamed up for the third-annual "Hands On Topeka" event throughout the city.

In prior years, "Hands On Topeka" focused on cleaning city parks, but this year it also partnered with Habitat For Humanity for the first time in order to meet more needs within the community of Topeka.

There were plenty out spreading good will at Gage Park.

"Hands On Topeka" will conclude tonight with music, food and guest speakers located at the big Gage shelter house at Tenth and Gage.
