The Kansas Apprehension Task Force, a multi-jurisdictional fugitive task force comprised of the United States Marshals Service, Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office, Topeka Police Department, and Kansas Department of Corrections investigators, developed information on the location of fugitive EDDIE ANTHONY GORDON, 21 years of age.
Information was sent to the U.S. Marshals Service Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force in New Orleans, LA. Acting on that information, GORDON was arrested by U.S. Marshals at an apartment in East New Orleans where GORDON had ties. He was arrested at approximately 4:30 PM on January 6th and later placed in the Orleans Parish Jail.
GORDON is wanted in Shawnee County Kansas for murder in the first degree, conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery, aggravated robbery, and aggravated burglary. GORDON had been sought by law enforcement officials since November 20, 2010 after the shooting death of Vincent Lambert, Jr. in the 1400 block of NE Winfield.

Topeka (WIBW) - Topeka Police issued arrest warrants Tuesday for two men they'd previously identified as persons of interest in a homicide.
24-year old Eddie Gordon and 17-year old Ira Gordon, Jr. are wanted on charges of 1st degree murder, aggravated robbery, conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary. Ira Gordon also is wanted on charges of criminal possession of a firearm by a juvenile, and, in a separate case, burglary, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, 2 counts criminal restraint, 2 counts of battery and 1 count criminal damage in a separate case.
The murder charges stem from the Nov. 20th shooting death of Vincent Lambert, Jr. in the 1400 block of NE Winfield.
Police ask anyone knows the whereabouts of Eddie and/or Ira Gordon to contact Detectives at 368-9400 or Crime Stoppers at 234-0007.
