TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW)--The Topeka Metro hosted a public roundtable meeting to discuss new additions to two of its most popular bus routes.
The green routes or the W 10th Street and W 21st Street routes will get a makeover over the next few years.
Topeka Metro hopes to add new bus shelters and technology to routes 4 and 10.
The shelters will be equipped with real time technology to let passengers know when their next bus will arrive.
The goal is to complete installation by spring 2014.
The project will cost about $276,000 dollars with about $221,000 of that coming from an FTA accessibility grant and the rest coming from the TMTA Capital Reserves.
