TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A Topeka man face charges for the 2007 death of his infant son.
The Shawnee County District Attorney's Office says it filed a count of reckless second degree murder Wednesday against 30-year-old James Patrick Maloun. The charges stem from a September 2007 incident that resulted in the death of a 7-month old infant.
13 News archives show seven-month old Gage Maloun died in September of 2007. In January 2008, Topeka Police announced they'd ruled his death a homicide. They said the child died several days after suffering injuries at a Central Topeka home.
Maloun's bond was set at $750,000.
