TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A Topeka attorney ramped up his challenge to Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins today for the state's Second District congressional seat.
Democrat Bob Eye kicked off his campaign for the U.S. House seat Wednesday morning.
Eye says he is looking to protect Kansas families by stimulating job growth through improving infrastructure around the state.
He also hopes to reinvigorate small businesses, reduce interest rates on student loans and make sure U.S. veterans get quality health care.
Eye will run against Tobias Schlingensiepen and Scott Barnhart in the August 7 democratic primary.
