TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-There are many endangered species and the Topeka Zoo is helping people stay informed about these animals.
The Topeka Zoo hosted its World Endangered Species Day Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event consisted of special keeper presentations, and education stations focusing specifically on endangered species in Kansas.
Golden lion tamarins, lemurs and elephants are a few of Topeka Zoo's animals that are listed as endangered.
