Topeka Restaurant Celebrates 25 Years

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A ribbon cutting Friday celebrated a Topeka restaurant's 25 years in business.

Chick-fil-A in West Ridge Mall hosted the ribbon cutting.

New franchise owner David Hamel is planning lots of activities Saturday to celebrate 25 years, including a concert and auction items. Money raised will go to the Simon Youth Foundation, which awards scholarships among other activities. One of items Hamel, a former Kansas State University football player, secured is a football autographed by coach Bill Snyder.
