TOPEKA, Kansas (WIBW) -- Topeka police will be on the lookout this weekend fo drunk drivers with at least one, possibly multiple, sobriety check lanes around the area.
The check point(s) will be held Friday night, September 27, between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m.
Check points could be held at one or more of the following locations:
29th & Croco Road
40 Highway & Dupont Road
45th & Topeka Blvd.
21st & Urish Road
46th & Topeka Blvd
46th & 75 Highway
The check lanes are designed to deter people from drinking and driving and detect intoxicated drivers.
