TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Topeka police are looking to use social media, TV ads and billboards to help find criminals.
Through the new "captured" campaign, photos and arrest information of offenders will be put on posters, electronic billboards, TV ads, and social media.
The goal is to encourage citizens to report crimes and show that they can make a difference around the community.
Occasionally, the campaign will feature a different criminal who was brought to justice with the help of citizens.
