Topeka Police say they still have not determined whether a woman's death Friday at a south Topeka hotel is a homicide.
Maintenance workers found the body of 39-year-old Lena Keithley of Topeka in a room at the Country Club Motel, 3732 S. Topeka Blvd.
Topeka Police Maj. Jerry Stanley told 13 News Wednesday that the coroner is waiting for toxicology and other test results before determining a cause of death. He says that could take several more weeks.
Stanley says police continue investigating the death as suspicious. He says suspicious deaths are investigated like homicides until it can be determined otherwise. He added it's not believed there is any further danger to the public from this incident.
