Topeka (WIBW-TV) Topeka city officials want public input on a temporary sign plan that could change what you see during your morning drive to work.

The public is invited to discuss the proposed plan that would clarify regulations on the time, place and size of temporary signs in hopes of balancing the needs of businesses with the aesthetics of the community.

The public meetings will be at the Holliday Building 620 SE Madison at 12:30p.m. or 5:30p.m. Monday December 9.

The plan will address popular signs called "feather flags" the feedback and recommendations are set to go before the city council in January.
