Topeka Mom Receives New Home

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A single mom is jumping for joy as a brand new homeowner.

Tomlin Robinson and her three boys received the keys to a brand new Topeka Habitat for Humanity house, it was dedicated today at 645 SW Grand Court.

Tomlin works for the Shawnee County Sheriff's Office.

Topeka Habitat for Humanity Executive Director -- and new city council member-- Michele De La Isla provided a blessing on the home.

The home was built by Seaman High School students.

It has three bedrooms, a full basement and a big backyard for the boys to play.
