Topeka Metro Offering Free Rides To Veterans In November

TOPEKA, Kansas (WIBW) -- As a way of honoring and thanking the community's veterans, Topeka Metro is offering free rides to them for the month of November.

Active duty or retired veterans can ride the Topeka Metro fixed route service for free by showing their veteran ID when boarding the bus.

- Veteran's Identification Card (VIC)
- Common Access Card (CAC)
- Uniformed Services ID Card
- Form DD-214

The deal includes all branches of the U.S. Military.

All Topeka Metro fixed route buses are A.D.A accessible.
