TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Topeka's Goodyear workers began casting votes Monday on a proposed contract with the company.
United Steelworkers Local 307 held three sessions Monday for members at the Expocentre's Agriculture Hall. The union briefed workers on the tentative agreement, then allowed time for members to vote.
Members also may vote Tuesday at union hall.
The contract covers 8,000 Goodyear workers at six North American plants, including Topeka.
Final results won't be known until the last plant finishes voting August 22nd.
