TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-A local church that previously faced demolition may still be standing for a while longer.
The Board of Trustees from the Kansas East Conference United Methodist Church tells 13 news that they are exploring options of relocating the East Topeka United Methodist Church instead of demolishing it.
Church services discontinued in June 2012. The church does not have a city permit yet.
Supporters of relocating the church plan to attend city council's meeting next week.
