TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Three juveniles will stand trial as adults on charges stemming from a Topeka murder.
Now-18-year-old Jimmy Netherland, along with Daquan Wilkins and Frednetta Wilson, both 17, are charged in a holdup that killed Natalie Gibson in her driveway last July. Another woman also was injured.
The trial for a fourth juvenile, Duane Ritchey, is currently at a standstill.
Five adults are also charged in the crime. Police say the nine suspects were all involved in a string of violent holdups over the summer.
