TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Three people were hospitalized Saturday morning (7/14) after a Marshall County accident.

Kansas Highway Patrol Troopers say it happened at K99 and Bobcat Lane, that's 6 miles south of Frankfort.

Officials say a Ford Taurus was westbound on Bobcat, and failed to stop at the stop sign. A Silverado truck that was southbound on K99, struck the car.

The driver of the Taurus, Gentry Botkin, 20, of Blue Rapids, and passenger, Mallory Schmidt, 20, of Topeka, were taken to the hospital, as was the truck's driver, William Roche, 57, of Frankfort.

Everyone involved was wearing seatbelts.
