TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - An accident involving a semi-truck landed three people in the hospital Tuesday evening.
Officials were called to highway 75, two miles north of Lyndon, just after 5:00 p.m. on the two vehicle accident.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a ford explorer, with occupants Justin Wiscombe and Martin Padilla, was traveling east on K-31.
Troopers say the driver failed to stop at a stop sign, turning left onto highway 75, and pulled out in front of the semi.
All three people involved were taken to Stormont-Vail.
Semi driver John Polec was discharged Tuesday evening. Wiscombe is listed in fair condition and Padilla is listed in satisfactory condition.
