Three People Taken Into Custody After Police Pursuit

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)--Three people were arrested Friday night after a police pursuit.

Topeka Police Officers responded to a disturbance call around 10 p.m. near 21st and Pioneer Way where subjects had a gun and fired shots.

A description of a possible subject car was broadcast as a silver PT Cruiser. A responding officer attempted to stop the vehicle near 23rd and Adams.

The driver initiated a pursuit that ended at 25th street in the west alley of Adams after the suspect struck a parked car.

The occupants of the car took of on foot. Three of them were arrested shortly after in the area.

Detectives are conducting interviews. Their names are not being released.
