MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) - Three people were injured following an accident Friday afternoon just northwest of Manhattan.
Riley County Police and the Kansas Highway Patrol responded to the intersection at Blue River Hills Road and Tuttle Creek Boulevard at around 1:30 following reports of a two vehicle accident in the area.
Police say a Chevy pickup was heading southbound on Blue River Hills Road when the driver ran a stop sign and collided with a second vehicle.
A Jeep traveling eastbound on Tuttle Creek Boulevard was spun around and stopped by the guardrail; however the truck continued to roll over the shoulder and required extrication.
Both drivers refused transport, however one passenger was transported to Mercy Regional Health Center for unspecified injuries.
