Three Busted In 5-Month Drug Probe In Junction City

Drugs, cash, tires and rims and a Cadillac were seized from a Junction City home by narcotics officers. The drug bust was the result of an investigation that spanned several months into suspected drug activity at the residence, according to police.

JUNCTION CITY, Kan. -- On September 28th, 2012 the Junction City-Geary County Drug Operations Group, assisted by Junction City/Geary County SWAT, executed a search warrant at 113 W. 17th, Junction City at 5 AM.

The search warrant was obtained after a 5 month long investigation by the Drug Operations Group and the Riley County Police Department Special Investigative Unit into suspected drug activity at the residence.

The following persons were arrested:

Lionel Clinton Dixon, age 27 of Junction City. He was charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute within 1000 Feet of a School, Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Kenneth Sanders, age 25 of Junction City. He was charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute within 1000 Feet of a School, Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Breanna B. Jeffries, age 23 of Junction City. She was charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute within 1000 Feet of a School, Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

The Drug Operations Group seized marijuana, U.S. currency, drug paraphernalia, tires and rims, and a 2004 Cadillac Deville.

The Junction City-Geary County Drug Operations Group is a joint task force composed of members of the Junction City Police Department, Geary County Sheriff’s Department, and Grandview Plaza Police Department.
