Three Arrested In Manhattan Prostitution Bust

MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) -- Riley County police arrested two women and a Wichita man at a Manhattan hotel Wednesday in a prostitution sting.

Officials say the RCPD received information that possible prostitution was occurring at the Regency Inn, located on Holiday Drive off of Tuttle Creek Boulevard.

Lieutenant Josh Kyle, an RCPD spokesman, says the department cooperated with management at the hotel and served search warrants in two hotel rooms.

Following the search warrants, three people were taken into custody.

Cassandra Geotcha, 23, of Wichita, was arrested for Prostitution, Promoting Prostitution, Conspiracy and Possession of Marijuana.

Tara Esguerra, 22, of Hutchinson, was arrested for Prostitution, Conspiracy and Possession of Marijuana.

George Brown, 25, of Wichita, was arrested for Promoting Prostitution.

Officials would not release any other information on the case. The RCPD has made multiple arrests at area hotels in recent months in an effort to crack down on prostitution.
