TOPEKA, Kansas (WIBW) -- A Topeka steakhouse suffered losses close to $10,000 thanks to copper thieves.
A Topeka Police Department spokesperson said sometimes between August 27 and August 31 copper thieves hit the Texas Roadhouse near Huntoon and Wanamaker.
Officials say they got away with around $30,000 in copper and caused another $15,000 in damage to neon signs.
The thieves stripped copper wire from the restaurant's light poles and neon signs.
