TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- The Topeka and Shawnee County Library begins a new chapter with the opening of its new kids library.

Kids will be greeted by a grand oak tree, complete with a digital schedule of activities for kids to explore inside.

The library will offer a school bus section central to what school age kids see in Topeka and Shawnee County. The family zone of the library has a octopus piece that wraps around the salt water aquarium and creates a destination spot.

The lettering from the school bus section was fabricated from a real Durham Bus.Similar to what kids see everyday.
