Fairlawn Plaza BP Station Being Torn Down, New Tenant Expected

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- The owners of a BP Station at the Fairlawn Plaza location have vacated the premises.

Randy Austin, owner of the Fairlawn Plaza Shopping Center, told the Topeka Capitol Journal that the service station at 21st and Fairlawn has been closed since last week.

The Capital Journal reports the shopping center is in negotiations with a potential new tenant for the site and the convenience store is in the process of being torn down.
