TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- A group of selfless students learned the meaning of volunteering.

No act of kindness, no matter how small was wasted today as members of the summer Midland Care Youth Corps toured the facility at the Easter Seals Capper Foundation.

Kids and teens from ages 10 to 15 years of age had the chance to learn the importance of volunteering and get some hands on experience of the services offered at Midland Care.

The Midland Care Youth Corps and their families collected toys and made cake pops to give to residents.
