TECUMSEH, Kan. (WIBW) - People turned out at a school gym to help people in area hospitals.
Tecumseh North Elementary School hosted a blood drive Thursday.
Community Blood Center must collect at least 580 pints of blood everyday to meet the needs of our area. They say right now their supply of O- and B- is critically low.
Dr. Jay Menitove, executive director and medical director with Community Blood Center, says he hopes that individuals in our community would consider the blood center just as essential as the fire and police department.
One donation can help as many as two local hospital patients.
