TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)__ Supporters put an artful twist on giving to Topeka's public television station.

As part of First Friday Art Walk events, bidders vied for original works of art.

The auction was held in the Community Building of the North Topeka Arts District. Artists from around the region donated to the event. Money raised from admission to the viewing and the auction itself benefits KTWU.

Art to delight the ears also was on display in NOTO Friday.
Before the rain started, First Friday art-walkers could enjoy musical performances along the North Topeka streets and courtyards.

NOTO also welcomed two new businesses. Pinkadilly features new and re-purposed home accessories, while Gracie B's in Gravity Gallery has fashion and accessories.
