FOUND: TPD Searching For Missing 74 Year-Old With Alzheimer's

The search for a a missing 74 year-old man has ended. The Topeka Police Dept. said William Brown was found safe and taken to the Law Enforcement Center.

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- The search for a a missing 74 year-old man has ended. The Topeka Police Dept. said William Brown was found safe and taken to the Law Enforcement Center.

Earlier in the day, they had issued a code red alert for Brown, saying he was last seen in the 800 block of Lincoln was wearing a Kansas City Chiefs jacket with a blue shirt and blue jeans.

He was described as a white man, standing 5'6" tall, with dark hair and blue eyes. They added he may be confused and suffers from Alzheimer's.
