TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A man accused of robbing a bank two weeks ago faces federal charges.
26-year-old Robert Eugene Gibson was indicted Wednesday on one count of bank robbery.
Police say Gibson entered the Lyndon State Bank at 1535 SW Fairlawn February 22nd and demanded money. They say he got into a car driven by another man and was apprehended at a gas station a few blocks away.
If convicted, Gibson faces 20 year in federal prison and a $250,000 fine.
