FROM TOPEKA LIONS -- What better gift to give this holiday season than a FREE health screening. “If eye conditions can be detected before age 4, most eye conditions can be corrected.”

The Sunflower Lions Club will be conducting health screenings at the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library, 1515 SW 10th Street, on November 26th and 27th. These vision screenings consist of: Peripheral, Acuity eye screening and a new Pediavision screening for small children. Also there will be Blood Sugar, Blood Pressure and Hearing screenings.

No diagnosis will be made, this is just a screening. If we find conditions that are not considered normal, a person will be advised to visit their health care specialist

The times for these screenings will be Saturday, November 26th, from 10:00am to 3:00pm and the following day, Sunday, November 27th, from 1:00 to 4:00pm.

“In a recent western Kansas screening 17 of the 26 children screened had a vision problem. Now the parents of these children can get the vision care they need.”

In this holiday season give the gift of sight by attending this FREE screening.
