TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Topeka's College Hill neighborhood is a bit more active with Washburn University students settling into their new homes.

Students moved into the Living Learning Center Thursday with the help of the Washburn "Move Crew." The tradition invites students, staff, alumni, and the Topeka community to roll up their sleeves and help. Washburn President Jerry Farley and his wife Susan were among those pitching in.

One senior who assisted with the move says she wanted to help new students get their Washburn experience off to a positive start.
