(WIBW) - State Rep. Trent LeDoux underwent surgery Tuesday at KU Medical Center.
LeDoux's mother posted on his Facebook page that he was going in for "major surgery" at noon.
"Thank you everyone for your love and support," she wrote. "(P)lease continue to pray."
Around 8 pm, another post indicated the surgery had just finished and said the doctor's report was "positive and hopeful."
LeDoux, R-Holton, has been in and out of hospitals the past two months, battling pancreatitis. He posted himself Saturday that he had been readmitted to KU Med for recurring low-grade fevers.
He had added his own post Tuesday morning before news of the surgery, describing Monday as "very difficult," but thanking everyone he heard had gathered for a prayer group for him.
"I'm truly blessed by each of you," LeDoux wrote. "Thank you for re-energizing me to keep on fighting."
