MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) -- Riley County police are looking for two bold thieves who stole several flat screen TVs from the Manhattan Target and walked them straight out the front door.
Officials say the shoplifting happened sometime on April 25, 2012 at the store located at 800 Commons Place, off of Seth Child Road and was reported to police by an employee on April 30th, 2012.
Riley County Police Department’s spokesman Lieutenant Josh Kyle says two suspects put four TVs in their cart and walked out the front door. The stolen TVs included an Apex 26” LED television, two Samsung 22” LED televisions and a Samsung 26” LED television.
Kyle believes that Target staff members did a routine inventory, realized the items were missing, looked at their surveillance footage and then reported the theft. He says the thieves were caught on security cameras and the investigation is ongoing.
