TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Some very special people were recognized at Wednesday's Sheltered Living, Inc. annual awards ceremony.
The awards recognize staff and others who have excelled over the past year.
Sheltered Living, Inc. supports more than 260 children and adults living with an intellectual disability.
Five awards were handed out to people who have served. The winners are:
Lifetime Achievement Award: Jerry Rus, Dennis Feighny, and Agnes Nzekwe
Chuck Harpham Award: Timothy Ware
Marlin D. Blosser Award: Martha Senogles
Leadership Award: Dawn Zabala
President's Award: John Ratzenberger
Entertainment for the night was provided by the band Good Vibrations -- made up of members of the Sheltered Living's Adult Life Skills Program.
