Topeka, Kan. (WIBW) - Shawnee County Sheriff's have identified the teen killed in a Saturday night accident.
14-year-old Cameron Johnson died in a one-vehicle rollover accident. He was a freshman at Shawnee Heights High School and was a member of the cross country team.
Five people were riding in the car when it rolled in the 4500 block of SE 101 street.
The driver, 15-year-old Adam Erickson of Topeka suffered minor injuries and was the only one in the car wearing a seat belt. 14-year-old Hannah Daugherty of Topeka, Matthew Randall of Tecumseh and Brook Ginter of Berryton all sustained serious injuries. They were transported to Stormont-Vail Hospital.
Authorities say the 1990 Acura was traveling westbound on southeast 101 street when it left the roadway and came to res in the north ditch.
The accident remains under investigation.
