Shawnee Co. Audit-Finance Director Resigns
(WIBW) - Shawnee County is looking for a new financial administrator.
Shawnee County Commissioners accepted audit-finance director Stacey Woolington's resignation during their meeting Monday morning.
Woolington has served in the county's audit-finance department since July 2010. Before that, she spent almost three years as chief financial officer for the Kansas Department of Agriculture.
Woolington told the Topeka Capital Journal she has been hired by a private company, but won't say which one.
Her resignation takes effect January 18th.
